In Oper(O) we experiment with the traditional forms of opera by playing with its five fundamental elements: music, theatre, movement, image and song. Through this process of deconstruction and re-evaluation, we attempt to discover new equilibriums among those elements. Having strong backgrounds in diverse performing arts and believing in collective creation and artistic collaboration, we are united by the common need to question, explore and define the role of opera and art in modern society. With the conviction that the foundation is imagination, directness and sincerity, we aim to create well-rounded, contemporary productions that everyone can relate to.
