Picsart’s “Replace My Ex” App Lets You Remove Someone From the Past, Photo-wise

It couldn’t have come at a more opportune time – a few days before Valentine’s Day. You’ll be dating a new love of your life but still has lots of pics of your ex.

You can remove all your “together” pics from your social media or, better yet, replace the picture of your previous other half with something else, quickly and easily.

Picsart, the popular photo editing platform, recently rolled out another AI-powered tool that allows you to seamlessly remove a former partner or friend from a picture and replace him or her with something else.

That something else is up to you – a favorite pet, food, or even a flag. The app is rooted on the AI text-to-image generator tech that lets you prompt a description and the app will create the replacement image.

“Replace My Ex” is initially for iOS devices but an Android app is soon to follow. The process is simple enough.

• Download the app at the Apple Store
• Open the app and upload a photo
• Click Draw on the toolbar
• Select “AI Replace” at the bottom of the screen
• Brush over the person you would like to replace then tap “AI Replace”
• Describe what you like in place of your ex (i.e. a burrito, a snake, etc.)
• Download and further edit the image

No luck there if you have a library of together pics because users are only allowed a limited number of free image generations. So, choose your images wisely.
