Role Summary:

We sell our products to large Fortune 500 companies, but we also care about the vendors that use our product and make it successful. Your unique challenge is to design a web-based product that is compelling to both the largest of suppliers down to the small 1-person companies. You will be our first UX designer, leading and crafting an easy-to-use, satisfying product and features. You will decide what we tackle first and drive how we think of the value of UX at Taulia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Expand our product development process to incorporate UX considerations from conception to completion.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers and designers through the entire product development process.
• Ensure that we have a process for "doing UX" that balances our own unique process constraints while delivering a material improvement in usability and path forward for consistency for the user.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with real HCI and UX.
• You have established or been part of team establishing the UX function.
• You have done a lot of prototyping and user flow testing and worked with Scrum teams.
• You have done some UX research work
• Exceptional communication skills; the ability to clearly explain design decisions to anyone in the company
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign)
• You must have a portfolio showcasing visual and interaction design work - send us a link!
