Job Description

We are seeking a Designer with UX background to join our team. This position is located in our Kirkland, WA office - candidates must be located in the greater Seattle area.

We are looking for an extremely creative and conceptual Designer to join the team to help generate and execute great creative work. The ideal candidate will have agency experience, an ability to create stellar designs for websites, apps, ads as well as other integrated marketing materials. You will report to our creative lead on a day-to-day basis, but will often be working on teams and accountable to various project managers. You will also be expected to share advice and knowledge with other members of the creative team.

Responsibilities:

• Design marketing and promotional materials across email, mobile, web, print and social media
• Deliver fun, high-quality, and on-brand, scalable solutions in a timely manner
• Use marketing and business requirements to assist in developing compelling designs
• Collaborate with Project and Account Managers, UX designers, and other creative team members
• Present work to internal and client stakeholders for review and feedback

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years agency experience
• Expert Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills
• Strong conceptual sense that is backed by a solid knowledge of web production
• Well organized and responsible, the ability to self-manage tasks and schedules
• Ability to work closely with clients, to understand their requirements, articulate proposals and deliver
• Motivated self-starter who likes working on very productive, fast-paced teams
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates
• Basic knowledge using Microsoft tools (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• PC literate

What will get you to the top of the list:

• In-depth understanding of User Experience (UX) and user-centered design (UCD)
• Proven ability to artistically conceptualize a UI framework, identifying unifying UI metaphors
• Has a very good understanding of data visualization and data representation
• Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
