Gang is a Global Creative Studio, making everything that happens on a screen and beyond.
Gang describes itself as a global creative studio making everything that happens on a screen and beyond, for agencies and brands, through content, films, interactive work and XPR. The news on its homepage says Gang Films and Merci-Michel joined forces to create Gang Group.
The studio's name, in very wide slanted capitals, crosses the line between two flat tones and passes behind whichever project is featured: a 3D Lacoste polo on blue, then a model wearing Boucheron jewellery on grey. The background shifts with each project, so the logo works almost as scenery and the work, signed Merci-Michel, takes up the page. The web design idea here is a logo treated as a stage set, ready to host any project.
DIRECTORS opens the menu, ahead of WORKS, ABOUT US, WHAT'S UP and CONTACT, which puts people before projects. Further down, the page moves through the studio's capabilities and dated news items, then closes on STAY IN THE KNOW and LET'S CONNECT. The UX is that of a studio introducing its talent first.
